Regenerative Oxidation

Procedural Principle

The contaminated air is first drawn in by the process air fan and heated to the required reaction temperature by a gas burner. The pollutants are then converted into carbon dioxide and water in the combined reactor and heat storage bed. The waste heat from the reactor is routed through a second bed and stored there. After the storage bed has been heated, the process air flow is switched. The stored heat is used to preheat the process gas stream, and the pollutants are then oxidized in the first bed. During further operation, the system cycles between these states.

Two-chamber regenerative post-combustion system for purifying solvent-laden process air from a painting facility at an automotive supplier. Purification capacity: 12.000 m³/h. This system type is available for rent and can be deployed very quickly.

2-chamber regenerative post-combustion system with integrated peak storage and hot gas bypass. The system shown in the example purifies exhaust air from a coating system with a drying process. Purification capacity: 1.800 to 5.000 Nm³/h. The system is also universally applicable for other industrial applications involving VOC elimination.
